With the invitation of the Research Institute of Wetlands of CAF, Finlyson Colin Maxwell, the head of the Research Institute of Soil, Water and Society of Charles Sturt University in Australia and the specially-invited expert of CAF visited the Research Institute of Wetlands for academic exchanges. There were over 50 people including Researchers and students on ecology of wetlands attended the seminar held for Dr. Finlayson.

Dr. Finlayson made the academic report in the situation of wetlands around the world themed by “Global Wetlands Outlook：State of the World’s Wetlands and Their Ecosystem Services”, which elaborated on up-to-date overview of the world wetlands, the scope of wetlands and their evolving, as well as the solutions to the degradation of wetlands.
