A group of three people, including Lucy Edwards, chairwoman of INBAR board and the professor of Balsillie school of international affairs of Canada, and Lu Wenming, secretary-general of INBAR, visited CAF and met with Xiao Wenfa, vice president of CAF.

Dr. Lucy delivered brief introduction to the foundation, development history, current situation and future work plan of INBAR, while Xiao Wenfa proposed the opportunities and challenges that CAF and INBAR will face under new circumstance.

Chen Yujie, Deputy Director of the Division of International Cooperation, introduced CAF and research institutes and current situation of research related to bamboo.

Prior to the meeting, Dr. Lucy group visited National Key Laboratory of Genetic Breeding of Wood, the laboratory of high resolution remote sensing and the hall of wood specimen.（Li Xuejiao / Division of International Cooperation）
