Expert from the National Center for Scientific Research Visited Research Institute of Forest Ecology, Environment and Protection for Academic Exchanges

On 23 Nov., invited by the team of nature reserves and biodiversity, Research Institute of Forest Ecology, Environment and Protection, Prof. Patrick Giraudoux, chief research fellow of National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), visited Research Institute of Forest Ecology, Environment and Protection for academic exchanges.

Mr. Li Diqiang, research fellow and chief expert of the team introduced its research areas and achievements in recent years. Mr. Zhang Yuguang, associate research fellow, Mr. Xue Yadong, assistant research fellow, and Dr. Zhang Yu made presentations titled Research on conservation genetics, Research on camelus ferus in Kumtag Desert and its sympatric species, and Research on rhinopithecus roxellanae in Shennongjia respectively. Prof. Patrick Giraudoux was engaged in academic discussions on related issues, and proposed cooperation willingness.

Prof. Patrick Giraudoux is a professor of exceptional class in Chrono-environnement UFC/CNRS. He is the discipline leader for research on ecology and ecosystem health, and also a renowned professor in spatial ecology, landscape ecology, ecological epidemiology and ecosystem health.
