President ZHANG Shougong Meeting with Mr. Ze Meka , Executive Director of ITTO

The Executive Director of ITTO Mr. Ze Meka paid the visit to CAF on June 18th 2013 and held discussion on deepening cooperation between the two parties.

Mr. Ze Meka expresses that the continuous deepening of cooperation between the two sides in the past 20 years has played a more and more important role in developing relations and expects that the diversifying cooperative approaches will be applied in further pushing forward the training of international forestry scientists and the provision of specialists’ consultant services as well as that the signed cooperation agreements will be fulfilled.

CAF’s president ZHANG Shougong thanks ITTO for entrusting the research projects to CAF and briefs the guests about the successful conclusion of the seminars for International Forestry Ministers implemented by CAF in 2011 and 2012. ZHANG prospects that joint forestry related training seminars or symposiums can be launched in China by sharing the resources of management experiences and the forestry specialists from the two sides.
