Forest Hydrology and the Role of Forest in Climate Change Mitigation Discussed with Senior Executive of Melbourne School of Land and Environment

Professor Richard Roush, Senior Executive of Melbourne School of Land and Environment, and his deputy Professor Lide Chen paid a visit to CAF and met with and held talk with vice president LIU Shirong on August 29th 2013.

The visitors have been briefed with the information about CAF by Director LU Wenming for international cooperation, the forest resources management study by research fellow LU Yuanchang from Research Institute of Forest Resource Information Techniques, the research on forest hydrology and the role of forest in climate change mitigation by deputy research fellow SUN Pengsen from Research Institute of Forest Ecology, Environment and Protection. Discussion has been held on deepening the collaborative studies in relevant fields and the joint program for double degrees for master and doctoral candidates.
