On July 12, 2010, Chinese Academy of Forestry ushered in the annual degree awarding ceremony for graduate students. This year a total of 222 graduate students would finish their study here, of whom 90 are doctoral students, and 132 master students.

Prior to the degree conferment, Academician JIANG Youxu and Vice President LIU Shirong presented certificates of honour, medal and bonus respectively to the authors and their supervisors of 2010 excellent Ph. D thesis. They are JIANG Jiali and supervisor LU Jianxiong for the thesis of Study on the Response Mechanism of Temperature, Time and Frequency for Wood Dynamic Viscoelasticity; XU Junming and supervisor JIANG Jianchun for the thesis of Basic Research on Classified Refinement of Biomass Pyrolysis Oil. Academician WANG Tao, member of the degree appraisal committee declared the list of the degree receivers which had been appraised and passed by the 3rd meeting of the committee. Prof. LU Jianxiong, supervisor of the 2010 excellent Ph. D thesis, made a speech on behalf of all the supervisors, expressing great expectations to the graduates while Doctor WANG Hui gave a testimonial on behalf of the graduates.
