Outstanding Alumni Award of the University of New England has been set to commend its alumnus who have made great contributions to regions and the whole world in their professional fields since 1994.

Victor Squires, Austrian professor in Natural Resources Management and Grassland was honored to win 2019 outstanding alumni Award of the University of New England concerning his glorious contributions to scientific research on grassland and desert ecology and achievements in solutions of land degradation in Central Asia and East Asia and the guidance to young scientists. Before that, he was ever honored 2018 International Cooperation In Science And Technology Award of People’s Republic of China, 2011 “Friendship Awaed”.
