According to the schedule of the program granted by National Natural Sciences Foundation, “Research on the structure and function relations of rosin-based acrylamide polymers”(No. 31470597), carried out by Research Institute of Chemical Processing and Utilization of Forest Products, Prof. Zhang Jinwen from School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, and Composite Materials and Engineering Center, Washington State University of the U.S., was invited by the program team to visit the Research Institute for academic exchanges from 13th to 16th Dec. He made a presentation titled “Preparation of Biobased Vitrimer: Shape Memory, Repairing and Recyclability”, in which he introduced the research and application progress conducted by him and his team in bio-based polymer materials in recent years.
During the visit, Prof. Zhang Jinwen was engaged in in-depth discussions on production, polymerization and photo curing of rose unsaturated monomers with researchers. (Research Institute of Chemical Processing and Utilization of Forest Products)
