Prof. Yin Runsheng from Michigan State University, and associate editor of Forest Policy and Economics, was invited to visit Research Institute of Forestry Policy and Information. Prof. Yin Runsheng introduced the development of international forest journals, in particular, the content, drafting and requirements of articles of Forest Policy and Economics, and also answered some questions. The two sides discussed on collaboration and related international hotspot and frontier issues on the development of forest economy.
Forest Policy and Economics is a bi-monthly journal published by the ELSEVIER of the Netherlands. It ranks 12th among more than 40 international journals on forests. Its influence factor was 1.982 in 2016. It is an important international journal on forest policy and economy. Collaboration with Forest Policy and Economics will enlarge channels for the Research Institute of Forestry Policy and Information to publish high-quality articles, and its international influence in soft science research.
