Cong Richun

Born on September 1, 1963, researcher of the Institute of Desertification Studies, Chinese Academy of Forestry.

Education:

In 1983-1987 he studied for a bachelor's degree in Beijing Forestry University, and then he got a MA degree at the Beijing Forestry University in 1990, after that he studied for a PhD degree in Beijing Forestry University from 1995 to 1998.From 1998 to 2000 he did a postdoctoral in the Chinese Academy of Forestry.

Work experience:

In 1990 he worked in Baotou Landscape Research Institute of Inner Mongolia until 2001, and then works in the Chinese Academy of Forestry. He Qualified as an associate fellow in 1997 and a researcher in 2001.

Awards and honors:

In 1997 he was selected as one of the first and second-level candidates of the National Talents Engineering and one of "500 middle-young aged agricultural science and technology backbone " affirmed by Ministry of Science and Technology, and he is an expert who enjoys the Government Special Allowance of the State Council of China.
