Mr. Zhang Shougong

The 55^th IUFRO Board Meeting was held in CAF on Oct 21st. Mr. Zhang Shougong, President of CAF, and Mr. Liu Shirong, Vice President of CAF, were present at the opening ceremony. Mr. Zhang Shougong delivered a welcome speech.

Prof. Mike Wingfield, IUFRO President, spoke highly of the hard work and efforts made by the CAF for the IUFRO Congress. He hoped that the two sides could further strengthen international cooperation and exchanges.

Mr. Zhang Shougong introduced basic information of CAF, reviewed the cooperation between CAF and IUFRO for the past three decades, and appreciated IUFRO’s long-time support to CAF. Afterwards, Mr. Zhang Shougong briefed preparation of IUFRO Regional Congress for Asia and Oceania, co-hosted by IUFRO and CAF.

The 1^st IUFRO Regional Congress for Asia and Oceania will be held in China National Convention Center, Beijing, Oct 24^th to 27^th.
