On October 21, 2015, Zhao Shucong, the President of Chinese Society of Forestry, gave a speech in the opening ceremony of IUFRO Eucalypt Conference 2015, held in Zhanjiang of Guangdong from October 21 to 24. President Zhao said "Eucalypts made a great contribution to solve wood shortages during the development of Forestry Industry in China. They also play an important role in ecological protection. Scientific cultivation and management of eucalypts will help them bring more benefits to human beings.
