University of New Hampshire Professor Changsheng Li Detailed the DNDC in RIW

University of New Hampshire Professor Changsheng Li, director of the Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans, and Space (EOS), visited CAF’s Research Institute of Wetland for academic exchanges on October 14th, 2013. Professor Li detailed about the use of DeNitrification-DeComposition model (DNDC) in simulating wetland characteristics in the State of California and the high latitude regions in northern Europe and lectured the exquisite guidance on issues that may result from in different regions when use the model plus the measures to improve the accuracy when do the simulation.  The researchers at the RIW enquired the matters concerning the use of DNDC model at alpine swamp meadow, coastal wetland as well as hydrologic monitoring, partition of GIS elements and peat deposit.
