The signing ceremony of Framework Agreement on Science and Technology Cooperation between CAF and Weifang City has been held on September 21, 2012 in Changyi City of Shandong Province. President ZHANG Shougong of CAF and Mayor LIU Shuguang of Weifang City signed the agreement.

Under the framework agreement on science and technology cooperation signed with Weifang City Government, close teamwork will be put on track by both Parties in alkali tolerance plant cultivation, coastal shelterbelts construction, coastal wetland landscape construction and protection, afforestation on saline-alkali soil land, coastal forest pest monitoring and control. It will surely play the critical role in promoting the ecological construction and economic development of Weifang City.
