March 7th, the Lecture on Quantifying Climate Change Uncertainty's Statistical Method held in CAF at the Convention Hall.

Prof. Samual SHEN, Dean of Mathematic and Statistics, San Diego State University, delivered the lecture. The lecture themed on quantifying and reducing the uncertainties and errors of climate change estimation by virtue of mathematic model and statistical approach. More than 50 experts and students attended the lecture.

Present at the lecture were Academician Prof. TANG Shouzheng, Prof. WANG Yangdong, Deputy Director of RISF and Prof. ZHOU Benzhi of RISF, Prof. ZHANG Huiru, Deputy Director of RIFRIT, Prof. LEI Yuancai, and Prof. ZHANG Xudong from RIF and ect., who discussed and exchanged views on the topic.
